GOLF FITNESS AND CONDITIONING

Is conditioning important to your golf game? Is it important to being the best you can be in any other sport? The answer of course is a resounding YES. You need to have good core strength, flexibility, and lower body strength. Just to mention a few key areas.

Tiger Woods showed the world what can happen to your game when you combine superior physical conditioning with incredible talent. Tiger raised the bar on many levels, especially fitness; and today it's no longer good enough to have a good short game and be out of shape. Today no matter how good you are, to win and to enjoy golf to the fullest you need to be in good shape. This is especially true as you get older.

What follows are list of great articles and programs that I've found that will help you improve your fitness level and your game. Remember good fitness and conditioning will help to increase your swing speed resulting in longer drives; improve your endurance so you can play longer at a high level; and in general give you a better overall game. Getting into great shape will help to improve your game in so many ways, and ultimately you'll have a lot more fun playing the sport you love.

I hope you found this section helpful in getting you started on a fitness program.
